Student of the Month!!
Jadyn received the Student of the Month award for the month of December!!! Andy and I were not able to attend the ceremony due to her very apathetic 2nd grade teacher and we were a little sad about that. We attended both her Kindergarten and First Grade ceremonies and were sad that we didn't get a picture of this years...so this picture comes to you straight from the Lopez Kitchen (dirty dishes in the background and all!) We are so proud of our daughter!!!

You could have just shown up and demanded to see your child!
I totally would have demanded to see Jadyn up there...IF I was told about the ceremony, as I was told for her Kindergarten and First Grade year...AND the teacher tells Jadyn - who you KNOW was looking for us in the crowd - that she had the wrong email address for me which is UNTRUE, as I have emailed her numerous times this year, the last time the day before Christmas break - she has emailed me back, I filled out a sheet during meet the teacher day with ALL of my info AND she has my telephone number. This is not the first communication mishap I have had with this teacher, so I went straight to the top with this one and emailed the principal with all of my fury! (Sore subject, I'm still a little pissed off about it).
That's awesome! Congrats. Where is she going to school? I would be upset too.
Jadyn is awesome!!! =) Her teacher pisses me off..
